The Campus Manager role is a key role in the organisation and is accountable for the end-to-end management of several data centres within a location, a Campus. This role has the responsibility of ensuring that all site-based activities are planned, executed, and managed to the highest standard of operational performance and customer satisfaction.

The Campus Manager liaises closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, visitors, and customers to ensure that all experiences and interactions are optimised and consistent. The Campus Manager ‘owns’ the site which includes management of the operational and facility requirements (plant, equipment, maintenance), monitoring performance, incumbent customer service, leading teams and growing the high-performance culture.

The Campus Manager will possess exceptional people and communication skills and have experience managing operations in a customer focussed environment.

Other responsibilities include:

- Operational ownership of the Data Centre campus.
- Direct people management, covering facilities, services and supporting staff in accordance with CDC Policy.
- Leadership in a matrixed environment where customer success and safety teams provide support to the campus
- Grow and promote high performance culture
- Meet or exceed safety and security requirements for the facility
- Collaborate closely with other Campus Managers to ensure the CDC customer experience is consistent, responsive and of high quality.
- Create an environment of continuous improvement to increase operational resilience, reduce risk and improve customer experience.
- Provides senior strategic guidance and direction to drive operational excellence.
- Management of budgets and resourcing to complete maintenance and projects associated within the operation of the facilities.
- Manage storage areas for all critical spares, project material and equipment (safely stored and controlled)
- Provide concierge type services for campus customers and visitors
- Delivers performance reporting to senior managers monthly and as requested.
- Lead the onsite teams to achieve CDC’s required standards and SLA's.
- Supports team managers in working safely, effectively and with high regard to human error avoidance.
- Ensures correct processes are followed and all documentation is completed as activities are undertaken and completed.
- Lead the team’s acceptance of new builds and building infrastructure as completed and deployed.
- Reviews and approves change management requests and method of procedures (MOPs, SWMS and permits).
- Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during complex or severe customer impacting incidents.
- Drives root cause analysis and provides a clear direction to facilities and services staff.
- Make recommendations to management where appropriate and drives incident resolution.
- Drive learning and development of staff through training and continuous improvement.
- Liaising with internal teams & management groups.
- Ad-hoc duties as required from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Deep understanding of Data Centre or large critical infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated financial experience in owning and administrating OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Demonstrated experience in managing technical and non-technical staff.
- 5+ years’ experience in Critical Environments requiring 100% availability.
- 7+ years’ experience in Leadership / Management roles.
- Undergraduate or Post Graduate Degree in Management / Engineering or Extensive related industry field experience.
Essential:

- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain, an NV2 Security Clearance.
