**About the role**:
As the People and Culture Advisor, you will be a true HR Generalist. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Branch Managers in the field, your role will be hands on and see you involved in the day-to-day operations of the Victorian business. You will work alongside another experienced People & Culture Advisor, to support with providing timely HR advice, support and consultancy to Managers and employees

Other key responsibilities include:

- Workforce planning and labour forecasting
- Provide workforce reporting to managers as required
- Facilitate disciplinary conversation and processes ensuring best practice, compliance and legislative requirements are adhered to
- Be responsible for the end to end recruitment process of allocated white collar positions
- Liaise with the Return to Work and Injury Management Officer to support the field employees through Workcover processes
- Willingness to travel to branches to attend toolbox meetings
- Ensure alignment of the vision and values of Buildsafe in relation to the development of People and Culture strategies

**About you**:
You will have a generalist HR background with a good understanding of talent acquisition and employee relations. We are looking for a high achiever to join the Buildsafe team, who shares the same values as we do and is committed to making a difference.
Selection Criteria;
- Demonstrated experience working in an Advisory/Generalist role (minimum of 2 years)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
- Previous Employee Relations and industrial Relations experience within the blue collar space
- Coaching skills at both an organisational and individual level
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities of the organisation
- A proactive, professional and customer focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes whilst positively contributing to a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality
- True culture carrier and leader
- Strong computer, analytical and problem-solving skills
