**About the Company**
You will be working for an industry leader in the transport and logistics industry, supporting a DG/MHF warehousing facility in the Laverton area.

Be part of the company national safety team based in Laverton and reporting to the Senior HSE Manager. You will take the lead to drive the proactive implementation and continual improvement of HSE culture, strategy, plan and performance of this large MHF site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to the Process Safety Manager to ensure that the relevant Safety Case update project meets the internal and regulatory requirements
- Engage with all key stakeholders in developing and managing Safety Case documentation to WorkSafe
- Guiding the implementation of, monitoring and reporting on compliance against the safety case and ensuring the business is compliant
- Provide oversight of MHF operations through liaising with operators and conducting MHF control performance review/ validation
- Coordinate and facilitate risk assessment using Risk Analysis techniques and tools
- Maintain of Site HSE related procedures including the site Emergency Response
- Identifying and interpreting legal requirements and providing operational advice and guidance to manage risks and ensure compliance to relevant legislative requirements and Standards, including MHF, HSE and ADG

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Tertiary qualification in OHS, Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years practical exp. in HSE roles, within logistics
- Detailed knowledge of HSE legislation, industry standards and management system standards (AS45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, etc)
- Dangerous Goods and Auditing qualifications/ training are desirable
- Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders including Regulators
