About Cunnamulla P-12 State School
Founded in 1877 alongside the beautiful Warrego River, Cunnamulla P-12 State School is a rural and remote Prep to Year 12 campus located on the land of the Kunja people in the Darling Downs South West region, 9 hours drive from Brisbane.
With strong ties to the community and a rich educational history, Cunnamulla P-12 State School prioritises the teaching of reading and literacy skills whilst championing contextualised and experiential learning with real-world relevance for the students.
At Cunnamulla P-12 State School, our aim is to convince each student that school is fun and a place where they want to be. We also teach them to be respectful, responsible, safe, and to love and value learning in order for them to be successful in life.
About the Role
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
