**Do work that matters**
The Support Unit Data Office is accountable for setting and delivering the Support Unit Data & Analytics strategy. It provides guidance on the portfolio investments to ensure we are building and leveraging world-class data assets and tools across the Support Units, it designs and implements the data quality framework for the Support Units and supports the Support Unit Bus to manage and improve the quality of the data they use.
Additionally, it contains a central capability that Support Units can use to deliver data assets and self-service business intelligence and the ongoing operation of these assets.

The Support Unit Data Office, leads data strategy development & execution, prioritisation and coordination of data investments and implementation of data management practices across the Support business units.
The team is responsible for uplifting data capability, data quality and data management within the Support Units. This includes ensuring that all Support Unit data owners understand their responsibilities and comply with defined Group policies and standards, supporting the build of data assets, overseeing data-related initiatives, and chairing the SUDO Data Management Council.
**Key Responsibilities**
- As the EM Support Unit Data Office, you will be responsible for leading a large multi-disciplinary function, with overall accountability for maximising the ROI from Data & implementing Data Management practices across RBS.
- Data & Analytics strategy for SUs, including the execution of this strategy, ensuring that CBA are global leaders in how we use Data & Analytics to meet and exceed our business objectives.
- Leading an end-to-end Data function, while achieving scale and synergies to support the use of Analytics across the Business, and across the CBA Group.
- Achieving agreed customer, people, productivity and profitability KPIs and outcomes.
- Operating within the risk appetite of the business and role modelling the Group’s Leadership Behaviours.
- Provide thought leadership into the group analytics and data strategy teams and Enterprise Services Analytics & Information.
- Providing data and data management expertise, advice and collaborating with all SUDO Business Units to deliver against our strategy and purpose
**We are interested to hear from you if you have/are**
- An experienced senior leader who has demonstrated success in leading and driving data driven decision making and achieving measurable performance improvements across large and complex businesses.
- Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills with an acknowledged track record of building positive and productive partnerships at all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in relation to verbal communication, and proven presentation skills to large audiences.
- A reputation for building a positive and high-performance team culture through effective talent and performance management skills.
- Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders across CBA is desirable.
- Global Industry leader in the world of Data, Analytics and Data Science and experienced technologist that understands data platforms and their capabilities
- Experience leading multi-discipline teams that including analytics, strategy development, portfolio management and technology delivery.
