**About the role**
The **Quality & Compliance Business Partner** at Activ, reports to Clinical Governance Manager and will provide support and guidance to Operational teams to build their knowledge and capacity to identify and manage customer and service safety risks.
This is a fixed term 2 year contract.
**A typical day in the role may look like **
- Proactively identifying areas of quality service improvement
- Ensuring compliance in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and WHS Legislation
- Working collaboratively within the team on strategic quality projects
- Contribute to the quality review of customer clinical plans, medication, service improvement, participants self-determination, capacity and quality of life
- Demonstrated experience in disability or community service provision and delivery
- Evidenced, working knowledge of the NDIS, continuous improvement, familiarity with the principles of human rights, person centred approaches and a contemporary attitude towards people with disability
- Proven understanding of relevant service standards and related legislation
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills reflected by problem solving, negotiation, conflict resolution and high-quality report writing
- Previous experience facilitating training sessions, coaching sessions and mentoring staff
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services or a Cert IV in Individual Support or related discipline (or working towards similar)
- Current Australian Driver’s license
- COVID vaccinated, including booster.
- National Police Clearance and/or NDIS worker screening check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
