About the role
Denver Technology is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Managed team on a 12 month fixed term contract. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced person who has at least 5 years with the experience to complete tasks including, but not limited to workshop facilitation, requirements management, user testing, change management and solution delivery with minimal assistance.
This role will deliver of scopes of work, orchestrating and eliciting inputs from extended team members, providing key customers with a responsive first point of contact. You will be ready to operate in a true end-to-end (from initiate to close/operate) BA role and be client facing with customers and stakeholders. You will be able to manage their workload across multiple clients, competing priorities, and time zones. You will have experience in employing many types of analysis which may be applied to optimise client outcomes.
Delivery
- Attend client sites and online meetings to understand and identify client needs, issues, and requests.
- Present approaches and adapt these to best suit the client and solution delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, elicitation sessions, user testing, training, change planning and so on.
- Application of various analysis types e.g., requirements traceability, stakeholder mapping, RACI, process mapping, Gap, SWOT, CMM, MoSCoW, Heat Mapping etc.
- Identification and engagement of stakeholders of all levels, establishing and managing delivery expectations
- Self-manage delivery of scopes of work within agreed thresholds (including time, cost, schedule).
- Use problem solving skills and persistence to find alternative paths (or strategies) to work through and solve challenges.
- Create alignment and ownership around a solution.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members – all with varying skill sets and domain expertise.
- Understand and comply with all onsite safety/security rules and regulations.

You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications or BA and related qualifications / certifications
- At least 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst / performing BA Tasks
- Advanced knowledge of methodologies, process mapping and testing strategies.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
- Project Management and / or Team Lead / Management experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to work autonomously / prioritise work
- Facilitation, negotiation, and expectation management skills.

- Critical thinking with an analytical mind
