This is a Temporary Full Time 38 hours per week leave relief position until 9 November 2025 with the possibility of extension.
**What you'll be doing**
The JMO Coordinator is responsible for providing a high quality, customer focused workforce service for the Shoalhaven Hospital Group with a particular emphasis on Junior Medical Officer (JMO) recruitment and selection, on-boarding, contract management, personnel administration (including records management), rostering, leave management and the provision of advice on HR related policy, Awards, agreements, practice and legislation.

**Talent Pool**
Applicants holding temporary visas with working rights may be considered for a temporary appointment up to the expiry date of their visa. However, this option is only available when no suitable applicant for a permanent appointment is identified.
A National Police Check (criminal history record check) is a requirement for all new appointments to NSW
Health and will be undertaken on preferred applicants, with the informed consent of the applicant.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Demonstrated understanding of the industrial instruments and principles related to the employment, rostering and/or payroll.
- Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks accurately, while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources.
- Experience of responding to a range of customer enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment.
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
- Ability to travel in accordance with the position responsibilities.
