Lifeblood has an inspiring opportunity for you

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Continuous Improvement professional to facilitate continuous improvement processes and initiatives across one of our largest divisions. In this role you will build continuous improvement capability throughout the division via a standardised continuous improvement framework to enable aligned work processes and business outcomes that support our strategic objectives. This being the efficient and timely supply of safe blood and blood products within a service excellence culture

Working towards a future focus you will assist by bringing a sense of curiosity to and driving value through our processes in collaboration with the teams you are supporting. You will partner with the business and bring your expertise in Lean & CI, such as process design, and be able to adapt that to the Lifeblood organisation to achieve best results.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;
In depth understanding of Lean thinking, behaviours and practice. Not just an awareness but a CI and Lean practitioner with confidence in delivery.

Strong analytical skills and use of data tools to inform decision making

Ability to communicate, collaborate with and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Lean accreditation such as Six Sigma would be desirable, but knowledge of its actual implementation and practice is key

This is a permanent part-time role with flexibility on how the 19 hours p/w are worked i.e. across 3 or 4 days and will be based ideally in Melbourne but Sydney can also be considered with your time split between the office and working from home.
