Provide expertise and support to build continuous improvement capability

Permanent part-time role (19 hrs p/w with flexibility across days)

This is your opportunity to find a life-giving purpose

**As an organisation our purpose is simple**: to give life. It’s at the centre of everything we do. As part of the Lifeblood team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to this life-giving purpose and grow your career. We’re committed to ensuring you have the ability to innovate, learn new skills, and embrace new challenges - all while making a difference in the lives of countless others.

Lifeblood has an inspiring opportunity for you

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Continuous Improvement professional to facilitate continuous improvement processes and initiatives across one of our largest divisions. In this role you will build continuous improvement capability throughout the division via a standardised continuous improvement framework to enable aligned work processes and business outcomes that support our strategic objectives. This being the efficient and timely supply of safe blood and blood products within a service excellence culture

Working towards a future focus you will assist by bringing a sense of curiosity to and driving value through our processes in collaboration with the teams you are supporting. Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;
In depth understanding of Lean thinking, behaviours and practice. Not just an awareness but a CI and Lean practitioner with confidence in delivery.

Strong analytical skills and use of data tools to inform decision making

Ability to communicate, collaborate with and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Lean accreditation such as Six Sigma would be desirable, but knowledge of its actual implementation and practice is key

This is a permanent part-time role with flexibility on how the 19 hours p/w are worked i.e. across 3 or 4 days and will be based ideally in Melbourne but Sydney can also be considered with your time split between the office and working from home.

Thrive in a diverse culture that cares for your wellbeing

At Lifeblood, we welcome different perspectives and backgrounds and we’re proud to foster an environment where people can come together to achieve their very best. That’s why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all - especially when it comes to your wellbeing. Every employee is unique and we’ve developed a range of initiatives to look after the varying needs of all our people.

As part of the Lifeblood team you’ll have access to a generous salary packaging program, plus a great range of rewards like discounts on insurance, groceries, food & beverage, department stores, travel, and more.
