**Your new company**

With a deep-seated understanding of freight forwarding needs, this international business specialises in providing high quality logistics services to their range of clients. After experiencing some strong growth in the APAC region, they are currently looking for an experienced Export Operator to join their team in Melbourne’s West.

**Your new role**

As a member of the Export team, your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end management of air and sea freight shipments
- Running of export process including job registration, booking confirmations, cartage organisation, and export clearance
- Communicating regularly with internal and external stakeholders concerning customer questions and shipment queries such as invoicing and shipment status
- Working collaboratively with both colleagues and customers
- Account management and data management through Cargowise
- Maintaining a focus towards achieving KPIs

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in international freight forwarding processes (air and sea export)
- Experience in the export of perishables
- A strong understanding of the Cargowise system
- Experience in following export policies and procedures
- Knowledge of providers such as shipping lines, co-loaders, and trucking companies
- The ability to monitor daily business transactions whilst providing transparency on this to management in the form of movement reports and jobs in progress and Accruals
- A strong knowledge of Australian export laws

**What you’ll get in return**
