This well-known Government Agency requires a permanent Procurement & Contract Manager to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Western Sydney and offers hybrid working flexibility.
**Your new role**
In your new position, you will create and maintain a contemporary framework of the effective and efficient purchase of goods and services. You will manage tender evaluations for significant contracts. You will manage key contracts through initiation, review and termination. You will assess purchasing data and explore opportunities to reduce costs through consolidating vendors. You will contribute to the development of policy and procedures within relevant service areas and ensure compliance with policies and legislative requirements. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, and you will contribute to the strategic direction and planning for the relevant service area.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered in this role, you will have procurement, governance and negotiation experience. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.You will also have management/leadership experience.
**What you'll get in return**
