Purpose
With excellent stakeholder engagement and writing skills, the position will assist in supporting the Executive Director to deliver the branch's practical and strategic objectives.
Key Accountabilities

**Operating at value range 1, you will**:

- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
- Provide leadership, guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Identify emerging issues, risk and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business objectives and imperatives and provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations.
- Formulate compliance and evaluation strategies to address specific issues related to the effective provision and implementation of required outcomes.
- Provide authoritative, operational and strategic advice and respond in a timely manner to urgent requests to ministerial offices and key stakeholders across the department.
- Pro-actively build and maintain effective working relationships and facilitate the flow of information across the department and with key external stakeholders and identify areas and opportunities for improvement.
- Pro-actively lead design and consultation sessions with colleagues in program and delivery areas of the department, to ensure effective approach to implementation of policy and strategy.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
