An exciting opportunity exists for an Advisor, Homes Victoria People Strategy on a Fixed-term basis in the Corporate Governance and Strategy Unit.
The Housing Performance and Governance Branch is responsible for overall budget, risk, performance and governance management for Homes Victoria. The Branch provides authoritative advice on assessment of financial performance of the organisation; budget formulation, forecasting and reporting; corporate governance and strategy, business system integration, financial risk analysis and compliance.
The Corporate Governance and Strategy Unit was established in 2020 and is responsible for developing and delivering key governance, people and corporate strategy functions for Homes Victoria. This includes:

- Coordination and support for the Homes Victoria Advisory Board and other significant governance bodies
- Development and oversight of the corporate plan, annual report and reporting requirements.
- Strategic workforce planning and recruitment of the Homes Victoria workforce
- Overseeing and coordinating the development and implementation of the Homes Victoria People Strategy

The unit provides key support across all of Homes Victoria, engaging with senior executives across all Branches, the Office of the CEO, Deputy CEO and key housing governance groups. The unit also engages with other areas of the Department, the Department of Treasury and Finance and Department of Premier and Cabinet on key governance and corporate documents such as the corporate plan and reporting requirements
Reporting to the Manager, Homes Victoria People Strategy, the Advisor, People Strategy will provide support in the development and implementation of the range of initiatives and actions under the Homes Victoria People Strategy. The advisor will also be charged with demonstrating initiative in driving some of these initiatives and being innovative in progressing activities that will generate positive outcomes for our people

- A tertiary qualification in human resources, learning and organisational development, business management or a related field will be well regarded.
