**Description**:
Due to expansion of our state of the art facility in Banyo, a new role has been created for a Store person to join our Maintenance Team, managing all engineering stock from requisition to goods receipt, and ensuring all stock is managed and controlled within our engineering and maintenance stores.

**Key Responsibilities - Purchasing**:

- Sourcing parts for new and spare equipment from technical specifications provided by engineers
- Raising and placing purchase orders
- Receiving of goods against orders, managing returns and follow up on undelivered items
- Work with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and best quality products are obtained

**Key Responsibilities - Stock Control**:

- Manage all aspects of engineering and maintenance stock onsite using MEX. This includes:

- Design and implement a stock control system to manage re-ordering points, holding levels, EOQ, warranties, data files and specification sheets
- Management of all equipment and spare parts through the process of either repair, servicing or disposal, liaising with both internal and external parties for collection and delivery of parts
- Knowledge of storage for the various parts and/or materials ie. correct ventilation, temperature and storage positions
- Complete weekly and annual stocktakes, and manage any stock adjustments as required

Who are we looking for?
- Someone with experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities, will be highly regarded
- If you having working experience with MEX or a similar maintenance management system will be essential to running the stores successfully
- Having a trade or stores background will be advantageous but not essential
- An organised and self-motivated individual - prompt and consistent in your work, can meet deadlines, can prioritise their work day
- You follow procedures and comply with standards but also have great initiative to find better alternatives and/or solutions
