A national leader in food manufacturing, our drive and focus continues to be on quality and exceeding our customers' needs. As a result of continuous growth and new expansion, we are looking for a full time Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team.

The role of the weekend Maintenance Supervisor is to support the maintenance team by being the first point of contact for contractors, production, administration and task allocation over the weekend period, thus helping to ensure the effective and efficient running of the maintenance team.

**Hours of work will be as follows**:
Friday - 5:00am to 1:00pm
Saturday - 5:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday - 5:00am to 5:00pm
Monday - 3:00am to 11:00am (negotiable)

**In this role, you will**:

- Support the maintenance team members over the weekend period Friday to Monday
- Respond to work requests and allocate tasks accordingly
- Supervise third party sub-contractor and supplier relationships ensuring compliance to agreed standards and safety requirements are met
- Provide accurate data / work history via the post entry system in MEX over the weekend period
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure that all planned work over the weekends by contractors and staff is completed in full, to the correct standard and that all necessary procedures are followed
- Establish and maintain strong communication pathways between key stakeholders

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- At least four years’ experience in a similar role
- A four year mechanical or electrical apprenticeship
- An ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and an ability to work independently but also a team player
- An ability to work in a changing and fast pace environment
- Have a strong focus on detail and quality
