Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated
** Stores Team Leader **for their
**DAY shift. **Based at the facility in
**Banyo**

As the
**Stores Team Leader** you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehousing, receiving, inventory management and transport for raw materials and finished goods. Whilst not essential, previous experience in a
**24 hour FMCG** environment working in a lead position within a cold storage environment, will be highly regarded.

**-Rates
- $60,000/ annum**
- **Shift starts 7AM**:

- **Must be Australian Permanent resident**

**In this role you will be responsible for the**:

- Ensuring effective stock control management occurs through FIFO method
- Responsible for ensuring coverage across all docks during shift and overseeing general housekeeping across all docks
- Maintain yard which includes monitoring inbound/outbound trucks, manage pallet receipts, issues, transfers and discrepancies
- Responsible for overseeing all inbound/outbound paperwork (delivery dockets, purchase orders, CHEP, equipment checklists, etc.)
- Maintain a safe work environment for the team - includes maintaining and managing the safe operation of all equipment (logging Toyota & Crown forklift breakdowns, completing relevant paperwork, training team members)
- Effectively communicating with all stakeholders regarding inventory control and movements, stock counts, and product delivery issues.

**What you need to have**:

- Supervisory skills including delegation of tasks
- Working knowledge of safe forklift practices and pre-op checklist ownership
- Valid Licence to Perform High Risk Work (LF) with experience operating a High Reach forklift up to 5 bays high
- Must be able to start at 5am - some flexibility required
- The ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- You must be able to work in a cold-room and freezer environment
- Knowledge of working within strict quality standards guidelines
- An eye for detail and pride in your work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
