Junior Finance Business Partner

We are looking for a talented Finance Business Partner to join us. You will work closely with key business stakeholders to produce accurate management accounts for the ANZ Utilities business. You will be reporting to the ANZ Finance Director, this role is key in supporting the delivery of reliable revenue and OPEX results, as well as significant involvement in the forecasting and budgeting process. This is a great opportunity for a Junior with a few years of experience, looking to take the next step in their career work with a growing, listed organisation.

You will also have close relationship with the Group Financial Control and FP&A team will be essential to ensure that the business segments are properly understood, appropriate accounting treatments applied, and compliance with tax and intercompany requirements.

Gentrack is a 600 person, growing business, listed in the public markets of New Zealand and Australia. The main people centres are in London, Auckland, Melbourne and Pune.

**In this role you can expect to**:

- Supporting key stakeholders such as Account Executives, Sales and Project Managers to produce accurate management accounts, forecasts and deal sheets.
- Work closely with Account Executives, Project Managers and Credit Control to ensure accurate invoices are sent to customers.
- Maturity in approaching sensitive areas with key stakeholders, while at the same time displaying the necessary rigour of challenging the business to ensure that the best quality decisions are being made.
- Ability to complete work autonomously without continual supervision.
- Reflective and learning mindset, with the ability to self-analyse, seek feedback from others and learn from outcomes or processes that turn out differently (good or bad) from that expected.
- Partnering with our PMO team to managing timecards and reporting
- Managing the headcount reporting and job requisition process with other key business functions e.g. Finance, Human Resources and Delivery.

**What you need to be successful**:

- Minimum of 3 years finance or accountancy experience
- Experience of decision support roles/assignments
- Exposure to technology and/or professional services businesses
- Experience of international businesses and cultures
- Up to date with accounting practices and standards
- Excellent commercial and strategic acumen
- Strong analytical skill
- A passion for excellence and a commitment to improve and develop
- High levels of energy, sound judgement, resilience and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- An open-minded consultative approach.
- Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.

- Proficient in Excel with the ability to work with large amounts of data, extracted from multiple sources, ability to synthesise data efficiently and summarise clearly
- Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA with post qualification experience (either within practice or industry
