Our client is renowned for the calibre of its people and the innovation in their work. A well-known and highly regarded multinational, their HR team are also recognised and awarded for their creativity, innovation and cut-through. Due to a desire to keep developing their organisation, they seek to enhance their enterprise level approaches that underpin their goal of creating a diverse and inclusive organisation. As such, they will appoint their first D&I Specialist to their APAC team.

Working in close partnership with international experts, the Diversity & Inclusion Specialist will support the design, delivery, implementation and management of the strategic diversity plan across Australia. This will involve:

- Analysis and the review of the barriers to diversity & inclusion
- Coordinating and facilitating engagement activities, training programs and communication plans that ensure objectives are met
- Coordinating external diversity outreach activities
- Building/ enhancing relationships with external diversity partner organisations
- Coaching and support to line managers that enhance D&I effectiveness
- Developing reporting and analysis
- Partnering, being a mentor and championing individuals
- Creating solutions to complex problems
- Representing the organisation at various external forums

Key to success in this role is your ability to build relationships, influence and consult with stakeholders, partner agencies and a wide range of external parties. You will be an experienced human resources practitioner from either generalist roles, or specialist roles within OD, TA or other areas of HR. You will have sound project management and coordination skills and be highly organized. Most importantly, you will be passionate about positively impacting the success of the organisation and minority groups/ individuals through enhanced diversity and inclusion practices.
