**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Security Asset Planning Manager, you will monitor and update published rosters for our Security Operations department. You will draw upon your experience to ensure workforce planning for Security Operations is compliant, efficient, productive, operationally viable and meets the optimum daily resourcing requirements.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure effective rostering practices to support management ensuring operational and budgetary requirements are adhered to and in accordance with The Star Enterprise Agreement and The Star policies and procedures
- Complete Security resource planning, scheduling and daily deployment adjustment requirements in accordance with business needs
- Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about changes / skill shortages for upcoming roster cycles and daily shifts
- Conduct adjustments to rosters to coordinate daily operational staffing requirements ensuring that The Star Enterprise Agreement, Workforce Management Governance Framework, budgetary requirements, policies and procedures and statutory requirements are followed
- Pipeline resources for overtime requirements based on business needs
- Ensure inbox and messaging systems are emptied daily with all requests actioned
- Provide exceptional internal customer service to the team member base, on rostering, Time and Attendance payroll and policy related queries
- Use discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling information administered by the Security management team

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a rostering and planning environment (preferred)
- Good knowledge & understanding of roster production systems (desirable)
- Understanding of optimisation techniques in relation to roster production
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel and other administrative tasks
- High attention to detail
