The Asset Protection unit protects all assets within all SRG sites. The team provides second line defence for key controls through engagement with stakeholders to ensure training and awareness of all key security procedures.

The Asset Protection Advisor will be responsible for executing the Asset Protection Operational Risk and Loss Management Strategy in their operational area, to identify and minimise risk exposure and areas of actual/potential loss in Super Retail Group retail brand outlets. The Asset Protection Advisor works closely with operational managers throughout the retail network within their area of responsibility, supporting and undertaking internal and external investigations, operational audit, loss prevention and site security management and delivery of training.

In this dynamic and rewarding role you will:

- Ensure appropriate audit coverage and execution of assets held at sites
- Investigation of breaches of policy which relate to loss of assets held at sites
- Review and report on key asset protection activities, incidents and events
- Based on observations across the business, support the Group’s workplace health & safety requirements.
- Support effectiveness and enforcement of SRG security procedures and the maintenance and utility of security equipment.
- Support and complete incident reporting, including training for operations leaders on reporting requirements and practices.

- Retail industry knowledge and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to provide appropriate solutions, tailored to business needs, for identified problem/risk areas to resolve and mitigate exposures
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality
