Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years.
A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

**Who we are**
The Ministerial and VIP ICT Support team is the primary point of contact for all departmental and portfolio Senior Executives, EAs, EOs, Ministers and their staffers.
This role is predominately undertaken within Parliament House and Departmental/portfolio agency buildings, however, does also encompass support during domestic and international travel as required.
**What you will do**
Management of the Ministerial and Executive Support teams and functions including:
- HR and personal management of team.
- Staff rostering in support of VIP users across multiple sites.
- Coordination and support of domestic and international travel for key VIP users.
- Coordination and support of ICT services, meetings and users in remote locations through in person or remote means.
- Engagement and training of new staff members.
- Contribution to the outcomes of the team, including but not limited shift work, official travel and out of hours work as required.
- Stakeholder Management across multiple level of Executives from SES band 1 through to the Prime Minister and supporting offices.
- Coordination and management of ICT incidents, changes and projects across the ICT branch and other internal or external support teams as relevant to VIP users.
- Driving continuous improvement and strategic direction for ICT services.
- Advocate and providing the "familiar face" for PM&C ICT Services and Support.
- Managing escalations and complaints for VIP users ICT issues.
- Development and presentation of various required briefs or other artefacts.
**What you will bring**
- Ability to anticipate and respond to client and stakeholders needs and expectations.
- Demonstrated experience leading an ICT operations team.
- Demonstrated experience supporting VIP clientele.
- Working collaboratively and operating as an effective team member across multiple teams..
- Demonstrated high standard of written and verbal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven track record of efficiently prioritising completing tasks and ensure strong outcomes and mitigating risks.
- Think analytically and enjoy problem solving.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and deliver excellent customer service.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with ICT trends.
