Exciting Sanctions Associate - Financial Crime position at NAB for 6 months, paying $35.73ph + super

Based in the luxurious Head Office at 700 Bourke Street, NAB is an inclusive organisation that supports your career progression and personal development. Due to growth, the Financial Crime Operations division is excited to welcome new Associates to join their energetic team

**Your new role**
Are you ready to make an impact for a safer society? As a Sanctions Associate, you’ll enjoy investigating and escalating any potential sanction breaches. On a day to day, you’ll be accountable for:

- Processing payments through SWIFT messages
- Assessing transactions against sanctions list as the first level of investigation
- Releasing these transactions within the given time frame of 90 seconds

You’ll be working on average 38 hours per week with opportunities to work overtime on a Saturday (optional). Your first 4 months, you’ll be working normal business hours Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

After 4 months, there will be rotating rosters across Monday to Friday. Rosters as follows:
8AM - 5PM (1hr break)

1PM - 10PM (1hr break)

10PM - 7AM (1hr break).

**What you'll need to succeed**
NAB does not require any previous financial crime experience As long as you have a passion to combat financial crime and have a risk-based approach. The successful applicant will have:

- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
- Previous Admin, Banking or Financial Services experience (preferred)
- A strong work ethic
- Good verbal and written communication skills

For shifts with hours after 7pm, you’ll be paid $42.87 + super, past midnight it’ll be $44.66 + super, and starting before 7am you’ll be paid $40.19 + Super
