**A Sanctions Associate - Financial Crime assignment at NAB for 6 months, starting 27**th** of March, $35.73 per hour plus superannuation with possible permanency or extension**

**Your new role**
Are you ready to make an impact for a safer society? As a Sanctions Associate, you’ll enjoy investigating and escalating any potential sanction breaches. On a day to day, you’ll be accountable for:

- Processing payments through SWIFT messages
- Assessing transactions against sanctions list as the first level of investigation
- Releasing these transactions within the given timeframe of 90 seconds

You’ll be working on average 38 hours per week with opportunities to work overtime on a Saturday (optional). Your first 4 months, you’ll be working normal business hours Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

After 4 months, there will be rotating rosters across Monday to Friday. Rosters as follows:
8AM - 5PM (1hr break)

1PM - 10PM (1hr break)

10PM - 7AM (1hr break).

**What you'll need to succeed**
NAB does not require any previous financial crime experience As long as you have a passion to combat financial crime and have a risk-based approach. The successful applicant will have:

- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
- Previous Admin, Banking or Financial Services experience (preferred)
- A strong work ethic
- Good verbal and written communication skills

For shifts with hours after 7pm, you’ll be paid $42.87 + super, past midnight it’ll be $44.66 + super, and starting before 7am you’ll be paid $40.19 + Super.
