As** Associate Director, Risk Intelligence**you will join the Intelligence & Risk Assessments team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

**Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to**:

- Provide meaningful contributions the development and implementation of NAB’s financial crime risk intelligence capability across intelligence collection, prioritisation and tradecrafts.
- Generate strategic and operational risk intelligence supporting the Money Laundering/Terrorism Financing Risk Assessment for business risk decisions and helping ensure regulatory expectations are met.
- Provide expert advice on the threats, vulnerabilities, likelihood and harms posed by criminal exploitation of NAB products, channels and other aspects of the business.
- Contribute to the identification of risks, risk indicators, typologies and other trends.
- Identify previously unknown threats and risks to NAB and assess the implications of those.

**We are looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for the customers. You’ll need**:

- Strong experience in financial services, government or regulatory environments with exposure to risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic reporting.
- Deep expertise in financial crime risk assessments and/or intelligence.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to identify patterns and emerging trends in large datasets. SQL and Advanced Excel capabilities highly regarded.
- Strong writing and communication skills to support senior decision-making and cross-sector collaboration.
- The ability to work with various stakeholders including NAB Enterprise, government agencies, financial institutions and other external parties.
