Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Family Liaison Officer** to provide information, support and assistance to individual ADF Members, partners, families and communities.

**About the role**:

- Respond to operational, procedural, administrative and business support enquiries and maintain accurate records and files
- Develop strong links to the wider Australian community and organise events and activties to support Defence families
- Listen to internal and external stakeholders and respond under limited direction to change in stakeholder expectations to achieve outcomes
- Collect and consolidate data and information and provide assistance in the preparation of written submissions, reports and other correspondence for internal and external stakeholders

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Good understanding of the Defence lifestyle and knowledge of the local community, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate family engagement opportunities and events
- Skills regarding; data entry/processing, verbal and written communication, stakeholder engagement, customer service, business process improvement, and organisational design and implementation
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
