About the Role
As the Human Resources Consultant you will have responsibility for the following:
- Lead and undertake designated project activities and participate in the design and implementation of organisational change activities.
- Prepare reports and submissions on human resources management issues and represent the department at external agencies as required.
- Provide operational advice, support and consultancy services to various areas of the department on a diverse range of human resources management matters.
- Provide input to the development and implementation of human resources management policies, processes and systems, including the provision of advice to relevant managers and clients.
- Provide and monitor human resources management services to ensure compliance with government and departmental legislation, policies and standards.
- Provide consultancy services to departmental clients to ensure that procedural activities promote employment equity, ethical practices and workplace health and safety.
