Opportunity for an experienced HR manager to become the go-to HR professional for a growing business

**Your new company**
Our client is one of Australia’s most well-respected and fast-growing businesses with an exceptional background in the high-end property market. They have an office based centrally on the Gold Coast and work within an ever-growing market.

**Your new role**
This growing company has reached a point where they are needing a Human Resources professional to come in and build the HR function from the ground up. This is a standalone, newly created role reporting into the Managing Director. Your responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):

- Working closely with the leadership team to develop a clear vision and strategy for the firm’s HR function
- Advising senior management on HR strategies, policies and practices
- Developing employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a healthy workplace culture
- Implementing a comprehensive performance management and KPI framework
- Implementing a top of the art HRM system
- Building a fully centralized and robust recruitment and talent selection process as well as a new starter induction program
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Awards, the Fair Work Act and all pertinent legislation
- Coach and develop Senior Management in performance management
- L&D - lead the assessment and collation of training and development requirements
- Ensuring WHS policies and procedures are in line with Legislative and Statutory requirements

**What you'll need to succeed***
- 3+ years’ experience in a HR Manager role in a medium to large company
- A real passion for change and proactively encouraging new and bold ideas
- A self-starter, not requiring to be told what to do and excited by the challenge of establishing a new department
- Demonstrated knowledge in building HR procedures and policies from scratch
- Business awareness
- Resilient approach and the ability speak up regarding the HR function
