Are you a creative sales professional who loves customer service? Are you the perfect face for our business?

We are seeking a reliable individual who can work independently without supervision, and has a passion for helping clients purchase great Australian art. You will need to have previous sales experience working with luxury retail and/or art, exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills, have administration experience and be immaculately groomed. You will also need to be a team player happy to work and regularly communicate with customer service staff at our other gallery.

Most of all we need someone who has great communication skills and excellent client rapport in order to help our customers find the perfect artwork for their space

We are now recruiting
- Art Sales & Customer Service Professional

The position will involve:

- Running of day-to-day operations and using a CRM
- Premium customer service and representation of the KAB Gallery international brand
- Limited cold calling and lead development
- Listening to customer's needs
- Curation of catalogues, sales and meeting KPI targets
- Working independently while regularly reporting to the Director
- Invoicing and accurately handling transactions
- Organisation of domestic and international shipping
- Packaging and unpackaging of artworks - this will require some lifting
- Some personal travel
- Regular online correspondence
- Working weekends but not public holidays
- Assisting with occasional evening art events (most often on a Friday)
- Some curation and regular window display updates
- General gallery maintenance and daily upkeep including light cleaning
- Excellent presentation, sales and customer service skills
- Ability to engage with customers and provide a premium purchasing experience
- Ability to work responsibly without supervision or overt instruction
- Ability to generate leads and close sales
- Attention to detail and initiative to problem solve
- Punctuality and reliability
- Good sales experience
- Knowledge of Australian art and various art mediums is desired, however training will be provided
