Together with our exclusive partners, we provide full service for the recovery of organic waste and the recycling of various other wastes including C&D waste and plastics recycling. We are able to design build, install and service state-of-the-art mechanical and biological waste recovery facilities for organic wastes as well as other streams. We are the exclusive Australasian distributor for the following international specialist recycling organisations: Waste Treatment Technologies (WTT), Rentec, Altero Recycling Machinery, Ecomade Engineering, and Leblan.

As MECBIO continues to grow and evolve in new and exciting ways as experts in the waste and recycling industry, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly energetic and motivated individual to join the business as a **Sales Representative** to work across our varied portfolio. Your main role is to build strong relationships with existing clients and negotiate projects to support new business development especially for our Rentec, Altero, Ecomade, and Leblan products.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain the company's products and services to customers.
- Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers and advise estimating team on detail and package required for each project/client.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance to address inquiries and deliver presentations and offer after-sales support to clients to secure long-term relationship.
- Be updated on ongoing vendor tenders, follow up on quotes & projects to track progress, proactively build rapport with key decision makers, and negotiate and close orders.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Production teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and smooth project execution.
- Play an active role in presenting and developing technical solutions and innovative ideas to contribute to business growth.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
- Previous sales role for large recycling machines with minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Experience in sales preferably in the waste and recycling industry is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with teams from an engineering perspective on technical sales, business development or tendering, will be highly valued.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
