An Australian owned and operated company at a state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne. Market leaders and renowned for providing quality authentic Italian handcrafted and awarded products. They are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

**The Role**
As an integral member of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Fitter will make a strong contribution to a high performing Operations team and team culture within our Manufacturing Site.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
- Carry out service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility
- Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment
- Participate in all training as required by the company
- Effective reporting of any issues relating to company SH&E & QA policies
- Point of contact when attending a breakdown

**The Applicant**
- Must possess a valid drivers’ license
- Electrical Qualification is highly desired
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Able to understand wiring diagrams
- Previous assembly experience (mechanical and electrical)
- Exceptional problem solving skills and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills both verbal and written

**Day Shift**:
**6am - 3pm**

**Night Shift**:3
**pm - 11.30pm**
