If you’re looking to work in a vibrant and caring retirement community, we have the role for you Join our team as a Catering Assistant at our beautiful retirement village in Toukley on Central Coast - Long Khanh Lakefront Village.

The village provides 24-hour emergency support and as such, the role also includes some sleepover shifts and is being offered as a permanent position with part time hours including both weekday and weekend shifts over a rotating fortnight.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the premises and ensure a high standard of food service while cooking and serving up nutritious meals to our residents who either attend the dining room for their meals or who pick their meals up as takeaways.

Ideally you will have:
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service to our elderly clientele- Experience in cooking/cleaning in an aged care setting/commercial kitchen or similar hospitality experience- Experience in following a set menu and comprehensive schedule and procedures- An understanding of how to maintain a OH&S safe & clean environment for residents, staff and visitors- Willing to work in a rotating roster and sleepover shifts as required- Happy to undergo a National Police check
