About the business

Phoenix Health & Fitness was established in 2011 as an independent Exercise Physiology clinic in Wyong. We have since opened a new, larger and fully equipped clinic in Toukley and are looking to add another EP/ES or PT of high calibre to our present team.

Phoenix Health & Fitness has partnerships with multiple GP surgeries, Aged Care facilities, Specialists and Insurance companies with a reputation of getting results.

About the role

The role is full-time (part-time may be an option) and will be located predominantly at the Toukley clinic with the possibility of home/aged care visits. An experienced Exercise Physiologist is preferred, however, recent graduates, Exercise Scientists or Personal Trainers will be considered (although MUST be accredited with ESSA).

Tasks include (but not limited to):

- performing patient medicare consultations
- working with DVA and Workcover patients (AEP's only)
- completing assessments and allocating an appropriate exercise program for either home or clinic based routines
- completing GP reports and AHRR's. (AEP's only)
- conduct hydrotherapy sessions
- general clinic duties
- attending home and/or aged care facility consultations

Salary will be based on experience.

Skills and experience
- Must be ESSA Accredited (AEP's/AES's only)
- Computer literate (BpAllied software used), however, training will be provided on software used.
- SIRA registration reqd or willing to obtain
- Ability to write appropriate exercise programs
- Ability to instill confidence in patients and build rapport
- AHRR report writing preferred
- Ability to write concise GP reports
- Time management skills
