**About the Role**

In this role you will:

- Be responsible for the provision of clinical education, supervision and support to undergraduate or Cadet nursing students undertaking clinical placement in the Hospital from approved education institutions.
- Work in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Managers, trained Preceptors and Educator to provide a high standard of support and clinical teaching and assessment, in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the Ramsay UndergradPlus Program to ensure the development of high quality clinical skills and knowledge.
- Stimulate student enquiry, reflection and the use of evidence in clinical practice to promote excellence in patient centred care

Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, you will work closely with a dedicated, respectful and supportive team.

**About You**
- To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required while maintaining your willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s Core Values.
- Your effective communication skills and your ability to plan and coordinate groups of student intake across various year levels will be critical in this role.

You will also bring;
- Relevant and current registration with NMBA
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to undertake this qualification
- Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in either mental health or an acute hospital environment
- Experience in delivering informal/formal education programs and “bedside” teaching
- Understanding of methods of assisting and facilitating learning
- Completion of a Preceptorship Program
- Proven ability in the role of a Preceptor
- Understanding of NMBA RN & EN standards of practice and Nursing Code of Conduct & Ethics

Desirable:

- Post-graduate qualifications in Nursing Education
- Previous experience in an educational capacity or clinical instructor role

**Remuneration: $99,405.54 - $105,615.88** + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:
