Are you an experienced Surveyor seeking a dynamic role that encompasses both field and office responsibilities? We are looking for a dedicated Surveyor to join our team on the beautiful Gold Coast or Southern Brisbane area. As a Surveyor with us, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of survey projects, from contour and detail surveys to estate surveys, cadastral projects, and more.

**Role Overview**:
As a Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in conducting both field and office tasks for a diverse array of survey projects. Your primary responsibilities will involve performing field surveys, data reduction and manipulation, calculations, and management of digital data for comprehensive survey projects. You will be tasked with preparing various survey plans, contributing technical expertise, and providing support to our Place & Environment team and clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute accurate and efficient survey tasks, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Perform a variety of fieldwork functions, including set-out, as-constructed, boundary marking, and conformance surveys.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various surveying methodologies and disciplines, such as topographic, cadastral, and estate surveys.
- Organize and lead field crews, ensuring proper gear checks and resource allocation.
- Maintain survey equipment and vehicles to ensure peak performance.
- Collaborate with other Surveyors to plan and execute daily tasks effectively.
- Read and interpret engineering, construction, and cadastral survey plans.
- Adhere to relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards within the surveying domain.
- Utilize survey technologies, including GNSS, Total Stations, and Data Recorders.
- Employ GIS experience within surveying, planning, or related areas.
- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, 12D, and AutoCAD for efficient data processing and calculations.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, sharing knowledge and fostering positive working relationships.
- Communicate effectively, demonstrating active listening and persuasive skills.
- Leave a strong and credible impression on colleagues and stakeholders through effective negotiation and collaboration.

**Requirements**:

- A degree or diploma in surveying or equivalent qualification recognized by the Surveyors Board of QLD.
- Proficiency in survey legislation, guidelines, and standards set by relevant authorities.
- Understanding of construction methodologies and terminologies for on-site project requirements.
- Proficiency in survey technologies, including GNSS, Total Stations, and Data Recorders.
- Proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, 12D, and AutoCAD.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
