Whitcombe is excited to be working with one of Australia's most experienced and agile energy brokers as they seek to expand their Net-Zero and Decarbonisation consulting capabilities. We're on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Net-Zero Analyst or Manager to support the delivery of specialist advice and transactional services to help customers achieve their energy-related goals.

Ideally based in Sydney, with the possibility to work remotely from another capital city, we're looking for someone with experience working in the Australian energy market, an understanding of decarbonisation markets/environmental certificate knowledge/energy pricing, and financial/commercial acumen.

**We're looking for someone with the following key skills & experience**:

- 3-5 years of relevant decarbonisation, sustainability, environmental, energy market analysis and pricing experience, including 1-2 years of applied energy market experience
- Ability to develop proposals to evaluate decarbonisation options and costs
- Understanding of energy procurement activities, including conducting tenders/requests for proposals for the supply of electricity & gas
- Grasp of pre-pricing, pricing, and post-pricing/contracts processes
- Data analysis and modelling capabilities, including the ability to review, update, and issue pricing evaluation models
- Ability to effectively manage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders; well-developed presentation skills and communications abilities
- University qualifications in a commercial discipline such as economics, commerce, business, finance or related field
