**The Opportunity**

As an experienced procurement specialist, take the next step, join our winning Customer Service team and work closely with manufacturing, operations and planning teams. This critical **Direct **Procurement Lead **role supports the Belrose factory in sourcing direct materials and services from key suppliers to ensure cost effective, qualitative and timely deliverables.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Procure direct material and services, including components, parts and software relevant to Dematic equipment assembly
- Facilitate sourcing arrangements for optimal quality, lead time and pricing deliverables
- Develop and maintain robust cost saving project pipelines, managing project initiatives until successfully implemented
- Facilitate new programme quote activities encompassing price reviews and cost reduction initiatives
- Monitor supplier financial risk and take business-protecting proactive actions
- Conduct supplier business reviews with forward-leaning agendas: technology, collaboration and overall competitiveness
- Review local and international supply sources, developing alternatives and reporting on new materials and equipment
- Develop new supplier setups, creating a competitive supplier panel to support high business growth rates
- Negotiate competitive master supply agreements and pricing models for competitive business margin targets
- Ensure actual pricing is consistent with supply agreements and price models
- Forecast and record savings achieved to support departmental goals
- Actively pursue internal “voice-of-customer” and ensure perspectives are addressed in category approaches

**What We Are Looking For**
- Practical purchasing experience, preferably in a technical project environment
- Strong track record in planning, organising, negotiating and administration
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Customer focused, hands on Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Great listener with effective communications, both oral and written
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Office capabilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
- SAP experience highly regarded
