**POSITION KEY OBJECTIVES**

To provide an efficient and effective Risk Management system for our client ensuring appropriate policies, practices and data collection are in place which meet legislative and organisational requirements in accordance with our client's strategic objectives.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- In consultation with the key stakeholders, ensure our client's Risk Management system, policies and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained to meet current legislative and organisational requirements.
- To maintain, upgrade and improve utilisation of our client's risk management platform (RMSS).
- Provide administrative support for the client's risk management platform (RMSS) and coordinate the ongoing maintenance and review of the client's risk management information.
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of relevant policies, procedures and processes as required.
- In consultation with the key stakeholders, review the operation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, working with relevant staff to align and integrate into relevant Strategic and Business Plans.
- Provide regular reports as required to meet internal and external requirements and in particular collect and analyse relevant statistical information and data, reporting any significant issues to the Coordinator Business Planning, Improvement & Risk.
- To assist officers in Strategy and Business Improvement functions.
- Present and promote training for staff to ensure they are aware of relevant matters and areas of responsibilities, as required.
- Monitor and report on sectional budget allocations and in particular those relating to risk management.
- To undertake specific projects including undertaking relevant research and preparation of reports and discussion papers as required.
- Follow and comply with all Work Health and Safety and Environment policies and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others is maintained at all times, including the reporting of unsafe practices or hazards to supervisors or WHS Representatives, whilst protecting and sustaining the environment.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- A solid understanding of the general principles of risk management and in particular, ISO31000:2018 Risk Management Guidelines.
- Previous exposure to operating with a Risk Management Framework and a computerised risk reporting/management database.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft office.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and admin skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative environment.
