Risk Manager

Our client is a global leading organisation, providing engineering and operational solutions across industries such as including government, maritime and aerospace. Our client is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to lead and the setting and achievement of sound risk management practice of Programs and Project in complex situations. This position will support the development, implementation and maintenance of Group Risk Management frameworks and practices across Programs and Projects by providing advice and assurance. **Our client is a global leading organisation, providing engineering and operational solutions across industries such as including government, maritime and aerospace.** Our client is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to lead and the setting and achievement of sound risk management practice of Programs and Project in complex situations. This position will support the development, implementation and maintenance of Group Risk Management frameworks and practices across Programs and Projects by providing advice and assurance. **Your responsibilities will include**: - Provide Risk Management support and governance within Program Delivery and transition as required as directed by company policy, and relevant processes. - Develop, implement, and maintain Risk (Threat& Opportunity) Management Plans. - Facilitate Risk Management practices (risk capture, analysis, mitigation, monitoring, and communication) - Analyse, interpret and prepare risk data and information for presentation to key stakeholders, including internal Senior Management and the Customer. - Determine the need for risk management training of project personnel and arrange for its delivery - Provide training material and support to all stakeholders involved in Risk Management - Maintain governance arrangements for Risk Management process throughout the Program and related projects lifecycle. - Adopting and embedding a "Lessons from Experience approach" to improve risk management using historic project risk data and analysis of risk performance - Assessing the risk maturity of projects and identifying areas requiring enhancement - Promoting a positive risk culture **Desired Skills and Experience**: - Significant, recent, and relevant experience in a similar role (Risk Management or Program / Project Management) - Ability to influence and build strong networks; and collaborate with diverse teams and key stakeholders. - Degree / postgraduate qualification in a related discipline e.g., Commerce, Project Management, Engineering - AIPM Accreditation as a Certified Practicing Project Manager - Experience of Government contracts and tenders - Experience within a multi-organisation alliance style structure would be seen as a benefit **Our client is offering**: - An agile working environment, including flexible hours and a work from home kit if required - Recognition and Reward program - Career development opportunities - Competitive salary range **To Apply** **Who are we** At PERSOLKELLY, our passion is - and always has been - putting you first.
