C-Suite Partners is pleased to be partnering once again with St John of God Health Care to appoint a Chief Executive Officer for Murdoch Hospital, one of the leading private hospitals in Western Australia. With over 550 beds, Murdoch Hospital provides a broad range of secondary and tertiary services. It includes Western Australia’s first private Emergency Department and has a stand-alone hospice and day surgery onsite.
Reporting directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer - Hospitals, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership to the hospitals 2,300 caregivers, in addition to:
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with the 700+ doctors
- Leading significant service and facility expansions
- Continue to strengthen the culture to ensure the hospital remains successful
- Strategic planning and the day-to-day running of the business, including ownership of the P&L
This role also includes responsibility for the Geraldton hospital, which has a CEO based on site.
**Key Requirements**:
- Experience as a Chief Executive Officer in a similar sized private or NFP hospital
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on culture, innovation, and building excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proven track record of managing large and complex organisations in a commercial setting, coupled with a strong financial acumen
- Prior experience leading a significant hospital redevelopment
- Ability to successfully develop and execute growth strategies
