NES Fircroft are looking for a Chief Financial Officer for a Major Oil & Gas Regulator based in the Perth CBD.

The role has been made available due to a promotion within the company.

**Job Role**: CFO

**Location**: Perth CBD

**Working Roster**: Monday to Friday (9 day working weeks)

**Start date**: ASAP

**Length of contract**: 6 month contract with the view to go Permanent

**Pay rate**: Negotiable

**The Responsibilities**:

- Provision of high level advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Division
- Regulatory Support to enable the discharge of financial management responsibilities in accordance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
- Lead the Finance & Planning team to deliver business activities in accordance with our client's strategic objectives, priorities and annual operating plan, including assigning and managing workloads, identifying resource needs and managing team productivity.
- Manage and conduct high level liaison with the relevant external parties including duty holders, relevant Government agencies and other stakeholders. Develop and maintain high level and professional relationships with industry and represent our client in external discussions and negotiations, industry meetings and at relevant Government and professional seminars and conferences.

**Experience needed**:

- Similar level experience
- Exposure as part of the Leadership team
- STRONG Finance background
- Exposure working with Capital projects (this role is running a project)
- Oil & Gas Exposure
- Must be an Australian Citizen
