We are currently on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Officer who has experience in high volume transactions for a 6 month contract initially, starting next week. This role offers some good flexibility to WFH and is based in Pyrmont.

**The role**
If you have extensive experience in Accounts Payable coupled with an in-depth understanding of financial processes, a high level of Microsoft Office skills and experience utilising a large ERP system then read on.

**Description**
- Performing accounts payable functions & reconciliations.
- Entering invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Preparing payment and EFT runs
- Management of the AP inbox and queries
- Assisting with general accounting procedures as required

**Profile**
- Demonstrated experience within Accounts Payable
- Large ERP software experience essential
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Highly organised and excellent time management skills
- Strong grasp of mathematics
- The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Experience in the mining and minerals industries highly regarded coupled with experience in liaising with Site Management and staff
