**About the role**
We are looking for an
**AP Officer** in a
**full-time** parental leave cover of 14 months. We are based in Circular Quay with
**Sydney Harbour views **and offer flexibility to
**work from home 2 days per week**.

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function to ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices submitted to AVID per business policy, standards, and compliance requirements. Specifically, this role will:

- Provide invoice management including processing incoming invoices accurately in the invoice register
- Manage the payment of all supplier invoices and corporate credit card expenses
- Be the first point of contact for all accounts payable issues
- Support with the development of policies and procedures to assign digitalised workflows
- Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory and operating license requirements and risk management practices
- Support with the identification and communication of risk issues and production of accounts payable reporting
- Deliver vendor portal system support to internal and external users and maintain system integrity
- Support any business requests, integration, and continuous improvement projects

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in an AP Officer role
- Degree qualified in a Finance or related discipline (desirable)
- Knowledge of the property industry (desirable)
- Financial analysis and process excellence
- Translating information into financial & business terms
- Ownership, accountability and problem solving skills
- Risk and internal controls management
- Data gathering, analysis and reporting
- Yardi Voyager (desirable)
- Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced level)
- Clear, concise communication
