**About the role**:
The Accounts Payable Officer ensures the smooth and efficient processing of invoices, payments and expenditure. You will be providing these services in an effective and efficient manner that will ensure the municipal finances are accurate and up to date and that vendors and suppliers are paid within the established time limits.
This is a temporary position for up to 12 months.
**To be successful you will need**:

- Minimum 3 years experience using accounting systems.
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and purchasing.
- Well-developed organisational skills including effective planning.
- The ability to meet strict deadlines and to work under mínimal supervision.
- The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills establishing excellent working relationships with a broad section of internal and external customers.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Demonstrates clear, consistent, easy-to-follow working style.
- Current NSW driver’s license
