- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).

**About this work area**As a People Planning Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Implementing the people planning strategy at a unit level, following principles/ guidelines as localised by the country People and Culture Team.
- Managing the full function of the store staffing optimisation process from forecasting to the execution of the schedule by posting schedules in a timely manner.
- Ensuring adherence to IKEA’s employment standards and legal requirements relating to People Planning.
- Collaborating with the Unit’s recruiting team to ensure vacancies are filled with the appropriate contract and availability to ensure the best possible customer meeting.
- Identifying possible improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate any potential deviation when the scheduled or actual hours exceed the agreed financial framework.

As a People Planning Specialist you have:

- Experience working with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
- A highly developed ability to analyse complex data and deliver the information to stakeholders in a simple to understand format.
- A drive to improve current ways of working to enable successful outcomes for the customer, the co-worker, and the business.
- Excellent attention to detail, can multi-task and can remain calm and agile in the face of changing business priorities.
- Working knowledge in forecasting, scheduling, budget adherence and reporting within a workforce management system (UKG is preferred).
