**The Role**
SBS is looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist to provide support for internal communications and podcasting and help deliver high quality internal and external communications assistance to promote SBS’s purpose and support the delivery of key strategic objectives.
**The Opportunity**
This position will encompass and not be limited to the following responsibilities:
**Internal communications**
- Manage SBS intranet
- Write and publish timely content about key SBS initiatives, projects and content in partnership with various stakeholders; ii)
- Overall operational maintenance including user permissions, training and resources, and troubleshooting with intranet provider/SBS Tech as required.
- Manage fortnightly production of staff e-newsletter Inside SBS
- Internal and external event management for regular staff town halls, Parliamentary Showcases and staff ‘Learning at Lunchtime’ program of activities.
**Podcasting**
- Help manage communications/PR for SBS podcasts - develop media releases, statements, Q&As and briefing materials, plan communications timelines, manage media enquiries as directed, including coordinating stakeholder engagement and ensuring SBS responds in a timely manner
- Support Audio Description and translation across key projects
- 3-5+ years in media, communications, agency or a related area, with experience developing and delivering projects, campaigns and/or events
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to communicate effectively
- Experience using digital platforms and/or content management systems e.g. Sharepoint
- Experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro will be highly regarded
