**About the position**
We are seeking a dedicated Building Project Officer to play a key role in the planning, coordination, and management of building projects. Working closely with internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Ensure all building projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner. Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
- Address and resolve issues to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in project delivery.
- Conduct inspections and address any issues related to project quality.

**About the person**
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in building construction projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction industry best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
