**About the role**

This casual position (8-10 hours per week) will be working with the Catering team on the client floor as a boardroom waiter, providing exceptional service to our clients in the meeting rooms and event space.

Key responsibilities include:

- Taking and preparing coffee and beverage orders for the client meeting rooms
- Serving client meals
- Assist with room setups for meetings, events and seminars
- Help clear rooms and reset for the next meeting
- Use the event management booking system
- Co-responsibility of washing dishes and general appearance of catering department
- Ensure all food safety and workplace health and safety requirements are met
- Manage and control food/supply wastage wherever possible, as well as assisting with packing stock away
- Restocking and general tidying of staff kitchenettes.

**About you**

You will be a passionate, energetic and experienced hospitality worker with barista and waiter experience. Corporate boardroom waiter experience ideal but not essential.

You will have the following attributes:

- Able to produce high quality coffee and have good coffee knowledge
- Professional and courteous with a strong client service focus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion
- A strong team worker who is able to interact and collaborate effectively
- Flexible and able to multi-task
- A valid RSA certificate.
