**Administration Officer, Policy and Advocacy**
**Full Time**
**Total Package $63,758.24 per annum (inclusive of superannuation guarantee)**
WALGA is looking for a highly organised, proactive Administration Officer to join the Policy and Advocacy portfolios in providing administrative and logístical support to the Executive Managers of Policy and Advocacy and broader portfolio team members.
This role will suit someone who has experience providing administrative support to senior management and can prepare high quality correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, as well as assist with preparation of reports, presentations and other written materials.
The team also delivers events, training and other programs and this role will have the opportunity to assist with the organisation and logistics, communicate with member Councils, Government agencies, Ministerial officers and other external organisations and attend meetings and events as required. If you are someone who has a passion for engaging with various levels of stakeholders and providing high level customer service, then this role will suit you.

- Experience in an administrative role supporting senior management
- Communication and interpersonal skills characterised by patience, clarity and responsiveness at a personal, written and telephone level
- Demonstrated experience in organising meetings, in person and online events, travel and diaries
- Experience creating, editing and collating qualitative and quantitative information
- Experience dealing with confidential information
- Strong customer service focus and commitment to providing quality customer service with demonstrated ability to relate to people from various backgrounds
- Organisation and time management skills to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to use Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
