Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Work Health and Safety Advisor** to implement health and safety initiatives and assist with regulatory compliance

**About the role**:

- Provide informative advice to a range of stakeholders on legislative, regulatory or procedural matters
- Assist in providing specialist WHS advice, assistance and support
- Assist with the coordination of a range of health and wellbeing initiatives
- Manage the process of workstation assessments, including the monitoring of invoice payments
- Monitor and respond to submitted incident and hazard reports
- Assist with secretariat functions for quarterly Work Health Safety Committee Meetings as required

**Ideally you will have**:

- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of records management systems
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

**Desirable**:

- Qualifications in Work Health and Safety
- Sound knowledge of the _Work Health and Safety Act 2011 _and _Regulations _or willingness to learn
