StraightUp is currently seeking an experienced Technical Training Consultant to join a fast-growing and innovative tech company based in Melbourne CBD. The business has a flat structure and you will work closely with all parts of the business, including the executive leadership team who will welcome your ideas and suggestions.

The company provides technical solutions for essential services and has experienced phenomenal growth over the past few years in particular. They have a 5% market share of their industry and plan to grow this to 7% this year. There are a number of projects ongoing, including the release of a new cloud product, mobile product and several other key projects such as a new e-learning platform.

Your role will focus on delivering software training to clients to ensure that the software is fully utilised to its maximum potential, and provision of continuous training for clients (including onsite and advanced training for existing clients).

**Day to day**:

- Provide product training to client users and internal staff
- Consultancy services by working with the client to determine how the software should be best trained to optimise workflow
- Working with different teams to organise an implementation and training schedule bespoke to the customer
- Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of training processes and customer satisfaction.
- Aiding the sales, marketing and development teams with feedback for further product development
- Assisting with the documentation and implementation of client support materials

**Desired experience & attributes**:

- Experience working as a Training Consultant, preferably within a software/tech company
- Strong experience facilitating online training using various conferencing software
- Excellent communication skills
- Communicates knowledge and operations effectively and efficiently
- Exposure to ticket/case management software (such as JIRA)
- Solid experience creating training documentation
- Commercial astuteness
